Iridium WiFi dongle – AxcessPoint
The Iridium AxcessPoint creates a WiFi-hotspot by connecting it to your Iridium handheld phone through an USB-cable. This way you get essentially the same functions at your disposal as with an Iridium Go! I.e. access to e-mail and the possibility to send / receive grib-files and (small) photos. Without the hassle of having to set up your firewall correctly – As would be the case when you connect your computer to a satphone directly.
AxcessPoint comes with:
- EU-charger (international on request)
- Battery
- Optional waterproof cover (Aquapac).
Iridium Mail (& Web) app
To use the Iridium AxcessPoint you need the Iridium Mail (& Web) app. Please see the tutorial below.
